it's the superbowl!!

I don't have a huge opinion this year on who I want to win. (we kinda mostly watch the SB for the commercials. :P) But...

Since we don't like Tom Brady (we tend to judge people on their morality--or immorality, in this case--, unfortunately. It's a bad habit of mine) on the Patriots, and since Dad supposedly likes the Giants' coach, we've switched who we want...and...

GO GIANTS!

Welcome Home, Hoos!

So remember all that baseball we've been watching? Well, since then UVA has lost a game to South Carolina, won another game against California, and lost their final game to South Carolina in a very VERY VERY close game. It was a good game, (as I said) even though we lost.

(this is the 1st SC game...)

On Saturday, UVA hosted a welcome-home party for the UVA baseball players on Davenport field. Guess who decided to go...:P We got to see and meet the baseball players and coaches! Like we got to put actual faces and people and hair (it actually made it harder when we could see their hair instead of helmets and caps) to the guys on TV.

Bug all decked out...:P
...(so cute!)...
Uhh...yeah.
The UVA baseball team

Us. :P
But and Annette on the field.

don't you love it!? :P
This is Dad, Bug, and Danny Hultzen (!!!!). This guy is the most famous guy on the team, I think...

Josie and Bug...(she has steri strips on her forehead)...
Me throwing up a ball...
...and going crazy...
umm...uhh...yeah. :P
;)
There ya go. UVA baseball team.

Rain and Baseball...

...do NOT go together. :P Here we are, waiting on the edge of our seats for the College World Series game to come on, and what do ya know! There's a 30 minute rain delay!

On Sunday night we were one of those families that were ecstatic that UVA won a game in the College World Series. It was 4-1; UVA won against Cal. It was fun. They've never gotten this far before.

But what was even better? When UVA won the game that brought them into the College World Series this year.

It was the 9th (and last) inning. UVA was losing. 2-1. And who knew? We won by getting 2 runs, making the final score 3-2! THAT was awesome.

So. If you have nothing else to do tonight, turn on your TV and watch and hope and pray that UVA wins. :)
