Saturday *Evening* Daybook

Guess where I went!?! I was at IHM; it's a Catholic, homeschool conference. It was fun. Gab and I (only Dad, Mom, Gab, and I went) did stuff from staying up till almost 12:30 watching Sense and Sensibility on Dad's laptop, to jumping on the hotel bed to Owl City music, to meeting Mrs. Regina Doman (!!!!! 'member her?). It was fun.

I'm thinking...about our weekend

I'm currently reading...Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I'm listening to...Ellie's nails on the floor...unfortunately, it's NOT a pleasant sound

I'm wearing...a green shirt, cami, and a tannish-sort-of skirt

I'm looking forward to...the first swim meet and practice on Monday and getting our team T-shirts on monday!!!

I'm hoping...that I'll get good events for the meet. Our coach already promised that I could do breaststroke, so I really don't have much to worry about...

Yesterday, I...as I said, yesterday I was at a conference. I listened to talks ALL DAY (pretty much), only a couple, actually maybe just 1 yesterday, being interesting. Then later Gab and I swam in the pool (after catching the door when somebody left 'cause our key wouldn't work on the pool door), had some ice cream, surfed the TV channels, decided nothing was worth watching, and finally settled to the DVD that Mom and Dad brought there--Sense and Sensibility. And we watched that till almost 12:30 AM when Mom and Dad insisted that we stop. :P

I'm hungry for...hmm...well, I'm not particularly hungry. I'm more thirsty.

The song stuck inside my head is...really nothing. I know, sad.

I love...hotels. Who doesn't? ;)

I loathe...keycards that don't work on the pool door! ugh! What a pain!

This week, my goal is...to get placed in the top...uhh...I'll say 3...for breaststroke at the meet. I'm not expecting to get first (I know a girl on that team that's incredibly fast), and I probably won't get second (I know another one that can probably beat me), but third is POSSIBLE. I'll tell you if I get my goal.

Did I meet last week's goal?...yes! I did the first two days. The last two coming up. ;)
